![]() ![]() ![]() There’s one more area to complete before the Reader can get to the castle and make their way back to Quill. Related: Moss Book 2 Interview: Design Director Joshua Stiksma & Publishing Director Lincoln Davis Before moving on, there will be a combat challenge to complete with a few waves of enemies, including a couple of cannons that need to be destroyed this time. The gate blocking will lift making the next area accessible. After shooting the orb, Sahima can destroy the cannon or just dodge it, then shimmy across the ledge on the left and climb up to pull the lever. Sahima can climb up on the left to get to the ledge with the cannon on it. There will be another cannon in the next section, and the Reader can take control of it to shoot the orb in the back right corner of the diorama. Next, Sahima can climb on top of the wheel to reach the upper platform and exit the area. Pulling it will reveal a hole in the wheel that Sahima can use to get through to the other side. The wheel can be turned to the left until players see a rounded object sticking out of it. If the Reader grabs the wheel, the rope holding it will snap, and it will fall into the ice. The one on the right will lower the shield around the wheel so players can finish solving this puzzle. ![]() The one on the left deactivates a barrier to the left where a Scroll can be collected. ![]() From there, Sahima can destroy both of the orbs. The path that’s through the cave will lead to the upper platform next to the wheel. In the next diorama, players can go to the path immediately on the left, then climb up the wooden stairs and go to the ledge where there are vines that the Reader can make grow. This will deactivate the shield around the square block, then the Reader can move it so Sahima can reach the far ledge and exit the area. Players will need to climb up, throw the Chakram at the wall, jump down to line it up, then call it back to break the orb. Sahima can go to the next room and use the planks to get across the ice. After all waves of enemies are defeated, the barrier will deactivate and the cannon will retreat. There will also be other enemies that spawn from the openings around the perimeter of the arena. There will be a cannon that shoots proximity mines, so Sahima can either step close and run away, or throw the Chakram at it to set it off at a safe distance. The next section is a combat challenge with a new enemy. When the charged-up Chakram is thrown, it will stick into walls and other surfaces, so players will need to hit the attack button again to call it back. The Reader will need to activate the charge attack, then Sahima can throw her Chakram across the gap to hit the orb. Sahima needs to stand near the purple barrier and face the orb, then hold down the attack button. From the starting ledge, Sahima can climb down and go to the right side of the screen, then climb up the vines. The orb with a purple stripe across the middle can be broken to move on. Sahima will be standing on a ledge looking toward the castle when players gain control of her. Sahima is reluctant at first, so a few scenes will play where the Reader is chasing after her to convince her to help. In order to reunite with Quill, the Reader must team up with Sahima and protect the last piece of magical glass from Tylan. After Quill falls from Tylan's attack and loses her glass pieces, the Reader will be separated from her. ![]()
